When I would get tired and say something was good enough, he would say "good enough doesn't work for me...it has to be perfect before it leaves my shop, especially since my name is on it". He was right. Maybe it took extra time but in the end, it was perfect. He made excellent suggestions along the way to make it more functional and definitely more beautiful. I now have a quality laundry hamper that has shelves and drawers (with dividers) and an opening above to display my towels. It has his signature floating top design which definitely adds character. It is beautiful and exactly what I wanted. I'm proud to have been his student throughout the project and to make a lifelong friend along the way.

I’d probably still be building bird houses if I didn’t take the 1st step of reaching out. Overall, this has been an exceptionally positive life experience. Jamie is far more than a mentor at this stage but also a lifelong friendship. I've already built a coffee table to match the character of the dining table and custom maple tops with a shelf for my music studio attached to an uplift mechanical desk but also have the goal in the coming weeks for barn doors and a cedar wrap for a cold plunge pool I'm building. The options are limitless and I still call on Jamie for expert advice and help as needed because I want to, not have to.

Jamie is an expert doing custom woodworking installations as well as specialized projects. Jamie finished out a Murphy Bed and custom cabinetry in a tight spot that looks incredible upon completion, and it really makes the room look fantastic. The layout of the room made the cabinets slightly larger on one side than the other and he skillfully built different size drawers and cabinets on either side of the bed, and it looks perfect. I have been fortunate to see some of the custom projects Jamie has completed and they are nothing short of astonishing! I feel confident that Jamie will go above and beyond to ensure any project he undertakes will be finished to exactly what his clients desire.
